Two notes only give a rough idea. Your voice type also depends on your tone and where your voice shifts between registers, and Polina hears that in a vocal assessment.
Sound settings
If notes reach the line before you hear them, move the slider right. Bluetooth headphones usually lag more than wired ones.
Turn it down in a noisy room. Turn it up if quiet singing doesn't show up.
How the trainer works
- Audio stays on your deviceThe trainer listens through your mic and turns the sound into notes on the spot. Nothing is recorded or uploaded.
- It only hears pitchIt can tell which note you're singing and how close you are. It doesn't judge your tone, breathing or tension.
- Headphones are optionalWithout headphones, you listen first and then sing. With headphones on, you can keep the notes playing while you sing.
- An exercise in your keyOnce you've tested your range, the exercise moves to a key that's comfortable for you.
Get feedback from a real teacher
The trainer only sees notes. In a vocal assessment, Polina listens to your whole voice and gives you your first exercises and a written practice plan.
